How The Doggery Started

The Doggery started after losing my childhood dog to cancer and I started looking at the food we fed him a little differently. I began creating treats with simple, real ingredients as a way to do better for our next dog, and over time, I started to hear from more dog parents that they wanted to do the same but they didn't have the time or the resources to learn how.

I believe dog treats should be straightforward. That means recognizable ingredients, minimal processing, and no unnecessary extras. At the same time, it should feel approachable for dog parents. No complicated feeding rules or intimidating ingredients. Just simple, honest treats that fit easily into everyday life.

Every product is made in small batches using carefully selected ingredients. From single-ingredient treats to gently prepared options, the focus is always on quality and consistency. Keeping things small allows for more care in every step and ensures each batch meets the standard I would expect for my own dog.

Made Close to Home

We are based in Peterborough, Ontario, with products made in Canada and shared through local markets, small shops, and online. Connecting with our local dog community is very important to us. It means knowing where your dog’s food comes from and who is behind it.

    Founder & Aussie Dog Mom

    Tiffany grew up in the country, spending summers by the water and winters at the hockey arena. With her Mexican heritage shaping so much of her upbringing, food has always been her love language. She has always found joy in cooking for the people and pets she loves, a value that continues to inspire everything behind The Doggery.

  • Leo

    Chief Tasting Officer

    Leo is the first dog Tiffany brought home as her own, who inspired The Doggery He marked the start of a new chapter, one filled with healing, growth, and building something meaningful. He loves a snack, will never say no to a game of frisbee, and is almost always close by. He is, in every sense, her shadow.

    Junior Tasting Officer

    Luka joined the family in 2025 as Tiffany's second dog, bringing a confident and independent spirit with him. He quickly carved out his own place while keeping Leo company along the way. Whether he is digging outside or watching his brother chase a frisbee, he is always doing things his own way. His favourite treat is chicken feet.
